Ron McBride (running back)

Ron McBride is a former running back in the National Football League. Ron McBride and his wife Nancy have three daughters and one son. Their son Jay McBride was an All-American Tri-Athlete, attended Southern University, and is a Corporate Executive in the Washington, DC area. Their daughter Ronnan McBride attended Clark Atlanta University and is a successful Business Owner of Ooh La La Fashion Boutique in Atlanta, GA. Their daughter Amanda McBride attended Kansas State University. Their daughter Tiffany McBride is distinguished Community Leader and has earned degrees from the University of Missouri and received numerous awards and nominations for her service as a Counselor in the St. Louis area as well as the recipient of the Excellence in Education and Service award for her efforts with youth and communities in the St. Louis and Los Angeles area. Ron McBride is also the cousin of All-Star St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Player Bake McBride. Ron Mcbride's father Jack McBride is a Civic Leader in Missouri and has championed Civil Rights Statues as well as chartered the NAACP in the mid-Missouri area. Ron McBride is retired and now resides in the St. Louis area.

Biography

McBride was born James Ronald McBride on October 12, 1948 in Fulton, Missouri.[1] . His cousin Bake McBride was an All-Star Baseball Player with the St. Louis Cardinals.

Career

McBride was a member of the Green Bay Packers during the 1973 NFL season. He played at the collegiate level at the University of Missouri.[2]
